Hello VIP! Congrats to box.

The sticks you will find inside the box is from a sacred tree native to South America, called Palo Santo. Several Latin American cultures have used its wood in traditional healing and spiritual ceremonies for centuries. When it burns, the aromatic wood releases lemon, mint, and pine notes—an invigorating, grounding fragrance that is believed to have a number of benefits. Interestingly, these benefits are only found when a palo santo tree dies naturally and is allowed to decompose for five to eight years. That gives the oils in the wood enough time to fully mature before it is harvested and processed into sticks.

“We believe that this mystical tree with its power to purify, attract positive energy and bring calm to the table goes hand in hand with our state of mind at The PUZL”

Some of the benefits
  • It helps clear negative energy. The high resin content is believed to have purifying properties when it’s burned, hence why it was traditionally used to clear negative energy and purify spaces, people, and objects.
  • Its scent is relaxing. The pleasing, grounding aroma triggers the brain’s olfactory system, stimulating the relaxation response and preparing the mind for meditation or creative focus.
  • It might help ease stress and pain. Palo Santo was traditionally used as a remedy for ailments like the common cold, headaches, and stress. Palo Santo is rich in both antioxidants and limonene, a terpene that has been extensively researched and has anti-inflammatory benefits.

How to use

Use a candle to ignite the stick. Hold it at about a 45-degree angle and point the tip down toward the flame of your candle. Let the stick burn about 30 secs, then blow it out. Smoke will rise from the embers and spread into the air. Place the Palo Santo stick in a heatproof bowl and allow the embers to burn out. This may be relit many times.
